THE TALE OF A YOUNG ADEYEYE OLORUNFEMI - FOOLISHNESS OR BRAVERY

For what it costs, injustice should never be meted on any man; it is supposed to be the hope of the
lowliest of humans on earth
Should I have reservations on a wrong in a system that should teawch me the right, and still be crucified for it?
Why did I not toll the part of wisdom, and conform in silence, and exude longsuffering just like other victims unheard of?
Olorunfemi should be asking himself these questions, or perhaps his fire of outrage may not afford him that.
Honestly, what was the young man thinking?
That this nation's justice system is applaudable?
Has he not heard stories of how the innocent's voice is silenced by oppositions that can buy out the "law"?
Did Olorunfemi bother to pity his sponsors, or perhaps he himself is his benefactor?
What is actually the problem of this young man?
Who does he think he is, to fight a whole “UNILAG”?
But Wait!
Olorunfemi is different!
He is unique!
He is unusually "stupidly" bold, to face the reality of oppression wearing a facade of noble cause.
This young man took the laws into his hands. Yes he did!
It was necessary to liberate so many of academic souls suffering in silence.
Have the university become a cult of witch-hunt?
Do they really mean the motto "In deed and in truth"?
Have our education left the hands of those with the noble cause of enlightening the human race?
One would begin to wonder where this nation is heading to.
The older generation seems to suppress the younger ones, in the family, polity, governance, leadership and now education.
Are we that intimidating?
Are they scared we can make things so better that it would make a mediocre of their achievements?
How can the vibrancy and the intelligence of the younger generation be threatening to the older ones?
I thought parents, elders, predecessors and our teachers should pride themselves in our promising future?
Whatever the case may be, Olorunfemi was not foolish.
He was just a brave one; the kind who will lead a people out of the "box of oppression"; the voice of liberation crying from the wilderness.
