IS IT NOTHING TO YOU

A group of different communities with interesting cultural background though living in their own settlements was invaded by some foreigners many years ago.

After the invasion and conquering by the foreigners based on super power and diplomacy, these communities were merged together to form a clan. There was unity and relative calmness which the foreigners leveraged on to exploit this new clan. This situation occurred for many years until the elite members of this clan came together to discover that the foreigners were using them as slaves and to their undoing while developing their foreign land at their servitude.

The unity and love this clan had was the major backbone for their joint effort to oust this foreigners who over exploited their human and natural resources. At the end the foreigners left and were out of their land. The clan enjoyed relative peace and progress and the sailing was smooth as there was  some level of autonomy the communities were enjoying under their clanship. The elites who fought these invaders were united, patriotic and selfless. They all believed in mutual tolerance and love

for the Clan.

However along the lines some years later they had a fracas which led to a war among these communities. Because the conflict was much there were records of loss of lives and properties. However they were able to reconcile among themselves and saw the need to remain in their clanship as they all will be better off as a united group of people.

Though there was still a good course to follow in  attaining the same ideals the foreigners who invaded them earlier on and annexed them together had, yet greed, selfishness, pride and corruption, ethnoreligious sentiments, nepotism sprung up in their midst. They left the common good of the clan to follow vanities and loot their common treasure. Those who were unfortunate to loot as much as they could felt deprived and those who actually looted became the Lords and kingmakers. There was hope that successive leaders and administration could cement the bridge and restore back the lost confidence and reposition this clan to greatness surpassing the level which the foreigners recorded many years ago but all to no avail, as it seem to be a case of one falling down from the frying pan into the oven.

The whole clan is complaining, food is scarce, security of lives and properties is at its ebbs, while the clamour for the disintegration of the clan by one of the aggrieved communities is at its apogee, untold stories of hardship which were never heard during the days the foreigners were exploiting this clan is now a common news talk. Many seem to lose hope, after series of blame of different administration manning the affairs of this clan and feel like nothing can be done that the clan is at its wits end having encountered their Achilles heel.

However a group of people who were not the creators of these problems but through history and science been an integral origin of this clan have heard and experienced the problems that this clan is facing and have come together to reposition this clan to greatness. Trying to assuage all thoughts of indifference, marginalization and resentment by all the communities in this clan. They have come with ideas and ideals that are anchored on zero corruption, spirit of brotherhood and selflessness, integrity, accountability and pragmatic solutions of ingenuity to the cries of the people of this clan.

This clan is Nigeria and the Communities are the ethnic nationalities we have in our country.

Will you fold your hands and continue to cry and feel indifferent? Since we all are members of this clan do we maintain the status quo of political cabalism, lootocracy, chronic wickedness sandwiched with propaganda by our elder statesmen and political leaders, deceit and ethnoreligious  chauvinism?

Is it nothing to you that this same problems is what we want to leave behind for our children unborn and posterity?

Is it nothing to you that if a criminal in point A relocates to Point B under the same economic and political circumstance that his likely to commit the same crime when the opportunities show forth?

For the Sake of posterity lets restore our clan back to the days of our founding fathers in the Early 60's!
