The Naija Youths And Politics

It is high time the Nigerian Youths see their value in the Nation exceed just Sports, Media and Special Advisory.

The new policy that makes it possible for anyone 30 years and above to run for any political position in the country is something we should take advantage of.

It is no secret that our political landscape is made up of old men in majority who lack the vibrancy to move the Nation forward.

The Nation needs the participation of the Youths to revitalise it's ailing self.

The Nigerian youths make up sixty percent of our population and yet it is impossible to find a youth that is a Minister or a Governor.

The youths are so shut out politically to the extent individuals who are in their 50's and 60's are the ones being made youth development ministers. These old men have no idea of the struggles of the average Nigerian Youth.

The time for the youths to join a massive coalition that prioritises youth welfare and the welfare of the Nation as a whole is now. A coalition void of old moneybags who have used the political system to serve their greedy interest.

We need more youths in political positions in this country, our elderly politicians have failed us far too long and the result is the economic mess of today.

The future of the Nation lies in the hands of the youth.
